TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Sharper Daily. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Sharper Daily ("we," "us," "the app"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sharper Daily. If you are between the minimum digital-consent age and the age of majority in your country (see our Privacy Policy for details), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to your use.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide a valid email address that belongs to you. Creating an account using someone else's email is prohibited.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, after reasonable notice where practical.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law permits.
• Use the app to harass, harm, or impersonate other users.
• Access the app through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) other than the app's intended interface.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or paid features.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

4. Content

The quotes in Sharper Daily come from real historical figures and are presented in good faith from public-domain or fair-use sources. While we work to verify attribution, we do not guarantee absolute accuracy of every quote. If you spot a misattributed or incorrect quote, please email [email protected].

The app's interface, code, design, branding, mascot (Sharpy), and curation of the quote collection are our intellectual property. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without written permission.

Your content: any notes you write on saved quotes and your mood check-ins are yours. They are stored locally on your device (scoped to your account), and you are responsible for what you write. You can edit or delete them at any time, and deleting your account removes them.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Sharper Daily offers an optional subscription, Sharper+, billed weekly, monthly or yearly through Google Play or the App Store. The free app is complete on its own; Sharper+ adds unlimited Wander, every guided Path, every Collection and card customization.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can cancel anytime through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Settings → Sharper+ → Manage subscription inside the app.
• Prices are shown in your local currency before you confirm. Refunds are governed by the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play. We generally do not issue direct refunds outside those platforms.
• Free trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• A subscription is tied to your store account and to your Sharper Daily account; use "Restore" on the Sharper+ screen to recover it on a new device.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the app you agree to the data practices described there.

7. Disclaimers

Sharper Daily is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that quotes are factually accurate. The quotes and practices are intended for inspirational and educational purposes and should not be relied on as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, psychological, or otherwise).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the app, in applicable law, or in our business. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app on your next sign-in. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
